Support students who require additional assistance in the classroom as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This role offers flexible, on-call assignments that allow qualified individuals to work directly with students with disabilities or behavioral needs under the supervision of certified staff.
Qualifications :
CPR certification (required)
CPI certification (required)
Experience in special education or child supervision preferred
Professionalism, reliability, and clear communication skills
High school diploma or GED minimum
Duties May Include :
Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups
Managing challenging behaviors using de-escalation techniques
Aiding with personal care, hygiene, or physical mobility as needed
Supporting daily classroom routines and transitions
Implementing strategies from IEPs or behavior plans
