Safety Coordinator – Construction / Industrial

Louisville-based with 50% travel

Louisville, KY | ~ $70K–$80K base + bonus + travel incentives

Full-time | M–F, flexible hours | up to 50% travel

A growing industry leader specializing in field services and engineering for rotating machinery is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety efforts across multiple regional field offices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about safety who leads by example and values integrity, training, and field engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement OSHA 1926 & MSHA 48B safety programs
• Deliver new hire and refresher training (OSHA / MSHA)
• Ensure compliance with 3rd-party training platforms (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe)
• Support job quoting with safety input and planning
• Conduct site audits and injury investigations
• Provide in-house training (e.g. First Aid, Rigging
• Lead and coach a behavior-based safety culture
• Travel ~50% to support other U.S. sites

Compensation & Perks

$100–$200 / day for travel (post-direct hire)

2–5%

Onsite – Louisville, KY (40243)

M–F, 8–5 (flexible start / end times)

~50% to key sites in TX, IA, AL, UT, SC
