Excavator Operator

Summary of Position : Allstate is recruiting an experienced Excavator Operator to support site development operations in central Florida.

Essential Job Functions : Operates excavating and loading equipment and heavy machinery including excavators, power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, and backhoes.

Effectively completes excavation and related tasks such as backfilling excavations and breaking concrete or rock using appropriate equipment.

Assists in other areas of department or other departments as required. Presents a professional and helpful appearance. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Minimum Requirements : Team-oriented and possess a commitment to excellence. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks appropriately.

Good communication skills (oral and written) Work Environment : Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions.

The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions.

Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist , and push / pull.
