We are currently seeking a full-time salaried Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will report to out controller and be a key member of our finance team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities : This is a professional finance position whose primary focus is to provide accurate and timely accounting information that moves the business forward. The ideal candidate will have experience with a full-cycle accounts payable process, including, but not limited to, 3-way inventory receipt matching, coding, posting, assisting with month-end duties, journal entries, reconciliations, and sales tax.

1. Ensures accounts payable transactions are posted to the proper general ledger accounts, in the proper accounting period, and invoices are paid within agreed-upon terms.

• Manage the company accounts payable email, ensuring all invoices and approvals are received and filed within Outlook
• Enter-match inventory invoices
• Reconcile company credit card activity
• Maintain Vendor W-9s and product annual 1099 statements
• Reconcile related Accounts Payable Accounts

2. Enter Inventory transactions from third third-party logistics company

3. Prepare and files state and local sales and use tax returns

4. Assist with Annual Audit

5. Other duties as assigned.

Direction and oversight of others : None.

Prior Experience :   This position requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of successful accounting experience in a consumer product or related environment.

Knowledge Requirements : The position requires an understanding of accounting software, such as Dynamics GP. Bachelor's Degree or relative work experience. Intermediate Excel experience, including PivotTables

Working Conditions :

Hybrid work schedule with Tuesday and Wednesday in the office.

Schedule with flexible start and end times and core hours of 9am – 3pm, Mon - Fri
