What You Will Do
Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and processes supporting production activities associated with the Pilot Plant and R&D Operations.Oversight of contractors in support of capital improvements.Assist in development, implementation, and execution of Maintenance Program utilizing computer skills to leverage Computer Maintenance Management System.Collaborate with manager, maintenance and cross-functional pilot plant team on initiatives, as well as improving / troubleshooting plant equipment issues.Work with Maintenance Team and Operations team to improve processes, repair equipment, and source repair parts / service.Learn all plant / pilot plant equipment and scale-up processTroubles shoot against equipment & ingredient technical problems / gaps across the Soup & Broth platform.Develop technical thought leadership, business & creative problem-solving skills.Develop project management & prioritization skills.Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of external activities (new technologies, best practices, regulations, etc.) for continued growth and development.Partner with R&D Innovation Team on Soup & Broth products to solve technical process and / or ingredient challenges before and / or as part of commercialization process.30% - Support maintenance / production / R&D activities30% - Assist in project implementations through contractor scheduling and oversight.20% - Develop maintenance and project plans10% - Documentation of work tasks associated with equipment, systems, and processes within the Computer Maintenance & Management System10% - Support & deliver safety requirementsWho You Will Work With

What You Bring To The Table (Must Have)
BS Engineering Required6 months experience (co-op, internship experience will be considered)Nice To Have
Preferred work or co-op / internship experience within Food, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering R&D or Manufacturing Facility.Ability to come up with creative solutions and demonstrate strong analytical approach. For example piece of equipment is down and no spare part exists. Find a creative workaround or short-term fix.Basic Understanding of scale-up and manufacturing technical challenges.Proficient decision making and project management. Can prioritize work activities based on priority given.Emerging ability to multi-task and work comfortably with senior engineers and / or cross functional partners within R&D, corporate engineering, and business teams.Emerging thought leadership for technical programs.Collaborative working style; proactive self-starter.Emerging influence / communication skills with functional partners in a way that fosters collaboration.Basic communication skills verbal and written.Developing presentations skills & ability to influence.Develop and participate in training activities in reference to safety programs for Plant and Operations employees in conjunction with Safety / QA ManagerCompensation And Benefits
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $63,500-$91,300. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
