Program Manager

The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Program Manager for their Housing and Community Services (HCD). HCD programs operate across the entire State of Utah. These programs provide grants, loans and services for low and moderate income individuals and address housing viability and need.

Duties in this position include :

• Manage grants provide technical assistance to local project managers, track performance, and monitor outcomes to ensure compliance with program regulations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
• Act as a resource to provide information or determine the most effective way of meeting the needs of local agencies and partners.
• Compose and produce reports, documents and related material.
• Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats.
• Read and understand complex rules and regulations presented in writing.
• Monitor and track information or data.
• Delivers presentations, training, or instruction to local agencies and partners.
