Hospitality Group Sales + Event Manager

We're now hiring for a full-time Group Sales & Event Manager to join the Roundhouse Market & Conference Center team! This is an ideal schedule o f Monday through Friday business hours, hospitality sales experience is required.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS THE GROUP SALES & EVENT MANAGER?

This position will be in support of the General Manager overseeing and managing sales operations to ensure the achievement of the conference center and client satisfaction goals. The scope of this role includes the implementation of successful sales and marketing activities to secure new business, maintain existing business clientele relationships, and oversee the execution of the events and banquets with other departments.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES :

• Detailed understanding of conference center operations, and food and beverage planning, and have the ability to perform all positions in banquet operations in order to supervise, direct, and train all banquet personnel.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and coworkers to their understanding.
