Overview
Tax Delinquency Processor II role at LERETA, LLC . The position oversees the timely procurement and accurate reporting of prior year tax information with minimal prioritization and direction from supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Of Prior Year Tax Information
Reviews pre-cycle requirements and communicates critical instruction and deadlines to all support team members
Contacts taxing authorities to request necessary delinquent information / listings and works with necessary support team to ensure data is keyed for reportingComplies with department policies regarding check requests and mailout processingPerforms and documents regular follow-up attempts, noting date, contact name, and brief recap of eventsProvides clear and appropriate instruction to procurement teams assisting with delinquent procurement effortsProvides clarification and direction as needed to complete assigned work ordersTracks & monitors the receipt and processing of manual tax information and automated tax amount files to ensure tax amount reporting by scheduled delivery datesTargets procurement of fall-out exception items following manual procurement or automated file load. Procurement methods may include contacting Agency ID via phone, fax, e-mail, or website extraction with regular follow up to ensure completionExecutes reporting of taxing authorities for annual delinquent cyclesEvaluates and maintain critical data elements in Delinquent Agency profilesDelivery Of Prior Year Tax Information
Prioritizes tasks to ensure 99.00% Delinquent Reports are complete and delivered to customers on or before the scheduled calendar event monthEnsures reporting cycles are included on weekly reporting agenda and final reports are submitted as scheduledQuality Control
Adheres to established process workflow and checklist formatsResponsible for the review and verification of agency quality control and preliminary reportsCompiles end-of-month compliance report showing clear start and subsequent follow-up dates with recapEnsures the Agency Profile System and Reporting Calendar information is updated and accurateMaintains appropriate pre-cycle and audit documentation, as per department policyThis position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.
