Organization & Team Overview
The WiFi Product Marketing team is part of the Internet line of business in the Xfinity Consumer Products Organization. We are focused on identifying new growth opportunities, disruptive business models, strategic roadmaps, and delivering ideas from ideation to execution. Core to the team's purpose is delivering new product experiences to our customers, while also managing the day-to-day user experience throughout the product lifecycle and customer experience journeys in alignment with our strategic goals as a company.
The WiFi Product Marketing team works closely with key stakeholders across the entire organization to own the end-to-end product life cycle. These key stakeholders include but are not limited to product planning, competitive, marketing, finance, pricing & packaging, digital experiences, procurement, technology & product, and sales teams.
Role Description
We're looking for self-starters who have the desire to learn, have excellent work ethic, and thrive in challenging environments. You'll identify new products & services to underpin Xfinity WiFi, define how to build those products & services, and ultimately bring them to customers' homes. Additionally, you will have visibility into how the larger organization is structured to execute against complex customer solutions. This role will provide executive level exposure for the work product you are producing, with a key focus on the ability to generate an idea, craft a story around business impact, and clearly articulate the vision.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In this role you will be specifically tasked with assisting in crafting and executing the Wi-Fi differentiation 5-year Roadmap, developing product solutions for various internet customer segments (e.g., value vs premium customers), supporting in-market performance of existing products and features (e.g., Xfinity Pro), and also contributing towards the overarching consumer go-to-market portfolio for internet business as a whole.
