Summary :
Theindividual in this role will be responsible for the overallmanagement of QuEras government contracts. This begins with thecontract submission process and follows through with contractnegotiations and ultimately managing the contract internallyensuring program success.
The individual review grant or contractapplications for completeness and compliance with laws andregulations as well as clarifying program regulations andguidelines including deadlines procedures and status updates.
Theindividual will also make recommendations on grant or contractprograms and / or service delivery including the identification ofprogram deficiencies and the negotiation of and recommendations ofpotential correctiveactions.
Responsibilities :
Submitreview and evaluate grant or contract applications ensuringconformance to established criteria and compliance with provisionsof laws and regulations;
monitors ongoing grants and contracts forcompliance and legal use offunds.
Confer with awardingagencies grantees contractors and subgrantees on administrativeprocedures and billing; maintains tracking system of expendituresand balances;
research collect and analyze data on projects toidentify trends and prepare or adjustreports.
Respond toinquiries regarding grant or contract availability requirements andprocedures; notifies grant applicants or contractors of programdeadlines procedures and status;
provides technical assistance andadvises grantees or contractors on interpretation of programregulations andguidelines.
Partner withsenior leadership engineers scientists finance and related internalgroups to support overall program management strategy and executionreviews.
Maintain completecontract records version control and establish a contractmanagementprocesses.
Identify analyzeand report any risks and communicate and escalteappropriately.
Qualifications :
- BS / BAin business related concentrations
- 5 years ofexperience in Government Contracts across multiple agencies (e.g.Department of Defense Department of Energy etc.)
- 5 years of contract and legal negotiationexperience coupled with an ability to understand complexcontractual issues assess risk and provide concise businessfocusedlegaladvice.
