- POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the advanced analysis of Information Security systems, including network and system logs, antivirus alerts and logs, patch management, threat analysis, compliance, & redundancy audits. This person will work closely with the team to identify and mitigate risks, keep all network, server, and end point systems secure, implement new systems and controls, and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities in our systems. This person will also assist the team in infrastructure and systems related projects and will serve as a backup to the systems administrator when needed.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Analysis of Security systems
- Analysis of Antivirus / Anti Malware systems
- Implementation and administration of Security Camera Systems
- Implementation and administration of Access Control Security Systems
- Monitoring security controls for External / Internal applications
- Regular analysis of Entra, Office 365, On site AD, AV logs, and other security related logging
- Administration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) for mobile devices and tablets
- Disaster Recovery Testing
- Working with Director of IS on implementation of security products and protocols
- Staying current with latest threats and vulnerabilities
- Hunting for threats and vulnerabilities within the environment including performing security tests and audits, pen testing, vulnerability scans, etc.
- Making recommendations to improve the overall security hygiene for the company, and implementation of approved security systems to improve the overall security hygiene of the company
- EDUCATION :
Based on the technical and professional responsibilities of the position, the Information Security Analyst is required to have :
- Equal working experience, _
- or
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, IT or a Cyber-Security related field.
- EXPERIENCE and COMPUTER SKILLS :
- Attention to detail shown through complete and accurate work
- Good interpersonal skills, well-developed verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
- Effectively prioritize responsibilities and meet assigned deadlines
- Self-Motivated
- Systems administration experience including Windows server, O365 administration, Entra, Cisco, and Meraki.
- 1+ years in an Information Security role or 3+ years in an IT role with a strong Information Security focus
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
None
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT :
This is a remote position, however a near vicinity to Anderson Indiana is desirable for in person meetings as needed, teambuilding, and projects at HQ. Travel is required as needed for hands on networking and infrastructure related projects, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position will require on-call availability for after-hour escalations should issues arise.
