Location : Davis, CA 95616 Rate : $3 $35 / hr Contract Duration : 6 Months (with potential for extension) Start Date : As Soon As Possible

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist contractor with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP). The selected candidate will support account reviews, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general system clean-up. This is a contract role with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough account reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Perform general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations in GP, including reconciling Accounts Receivable (AR) to Cash Receipts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Generate and analyze financial statements and custom reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in financial data within GP.
• Make appropriate transactions to correct client and system balances.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline accounting workflows and improve accuracy.
