Warehouse Operations Manager
Coordinating and managing all warehouse activities in RDC's and 3PL locations in North America. The person in this role works continuously towards making the organization more effective and productive, through utilization of business processes, common tools and business practices as well as looking for new and innovative ways to get work done in a safe and timely manner. Individual will work both tactically and strategically in the Distribution Arena along with interaction with the Global Teams as well.
What You Need To Know :
- Fully responsible for 3PL operations and contracts within NA.
- Full P&L responsibility for any RDCs in NA.
- Work together with all aspects of the business to investigate any customer compliance issues.
- Work together with the Sales Team for Program and network expansion.
- Work with corporate initiatives for EHS, Risk and Global Safety Operations to ensure that NA sites are all compliant in reporting and daily business practices.
- Act as POC for any cost savings initiatives that would be brought forward by outside departments for execution in the RDCs or 3PLs.
- Active Participant in the Annual Budgeting Process from preparation to completion with the Finance Team.
- Work with the RDCs and 3PLs in proactive inventory health measures.
- Work with the Supply Planning Team on the PSI and interdependency with the RDCs & 3PLs.
- Responsible for auditing of the monthly 3PL invoices for accuracy.
- Work with RDCs & 3PLs to ensure customer requirements are met and new programs or requirements communicated.
- Establish measurable KPI metrics for both the RDCs & 3PLs and responsible for identifying gaps to performance.
- Establish QBRs with 3PLs and the procurement teams.
- Active Participation in establishing SOW documents for any new 3PL agreements.
- Provide RDC & 3PL KPI Dashboards and full monthly explanations on deltas or variances in the metrics or financials.
- Establish a Metric for Space Utilization / Needs within the Distribution Buildings.
- Direct contact with the Real Estate Team on any upcoming contracts for renewal for the RDCs & 3PLs.
- Establish Ways of Working Manual for internal Husqvarna Personnel related to the RDC & 3PL Network.
- Subject Matter Expert for the IT Team for systems upgrades, changes or overall equipment enhancements.
- Work with the Transportation Team on Carrier Performance Metrics by Account for both Prepaid and Collect Customers.
- Work Strategically with the Director of Operations NA for all projects NA related from a Distribution Perspective.
- Participate in all strategic projects related to NA Logistics.
- Responsible for the TMS / CHR Relationship with regard to all aspects of the program (Financial, Reporting, SOW).
- Responsible to participate in all cost savings projects for NA D&T.
What We Are Looking For :
