Accounts Receivable

IntroductionVisium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Accounts Receivable position. This position is a direct full-time opportunity which is expected to be Hybrid in Jacksonville, FL 32218.

Accounting Processor - A / RPosition Summary : Works under the direction of the Finance Manager with moderate to limited supervision.

Has primary responsibility for the completion of the accounts receivable functions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

May have the opportunity to cross-train between responsibilities as well as between different businesses and ERP systems within the company.

Duties include but are not limited to the following : Key Responsibilities : Accounts Receivable· Processes cash receipts from lockbox deposits, ACH, and wire transfers.

• Reconciles daily cash receipts to receipts posted to the ledger.· Generates invoices for distribution to customers.· Prepares various manual invoices and performs input into ERP system.
• Receives and processes progress billings that require different treatment than standard payments.· Follows up with customers on outstanding balances.
• Researches and resolves issues such as short payments, overpayments and payments without remittance instructions.· Prepares accounts receivable aging and other reports for both internal and external use.
• Performs other accounts receivable functions such as processing credit memos.· Maintains proper internal controls and procedures related to cash receipts and invoicing processes.

Qualified candidates would have the following : High school diploma or equivalent and up to 3 years work experience involving some data entry and use of basic math skills.

• Basic knowledge and operation of office equipment such as personal computer, calculator, copier and software such as MS Office.
• Strong background in arithmetic along with intermediate data entry skills needed.· Requires the ability to communicate in a professional manner with external and internal contacts.
• Maintains personal productive and quality standards as determined by supervision.· Is accountable and capable of working with limited oversight;
