AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team! If you have experience with JDE software and a passion for accounting, this role is for you. Join us in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems, resolving vendor invoice issues, processing payments accurately and on time, analyzing Standard Cost Systems, and preparing manufacturing cost reports. IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior accounting and related experience.
• Experience utilizing and writing worksheet applications on personal computer using Excel or other spreadsheet software.
• Prior experience using JD Edwards, Bottomline, Hubble, Infinium, ASI, or UKG software.
• Working knowledge and concepts of Standard Cost System.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must exhibit a basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, accounting terminology and practices.
• Must exhibit the ability to learn software applications and accounting procedures.
• Must exhibit a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to work extra hours on weekdays or weekends as required to fulfill job duties.
• Subject to departmental transfer to other Accounting Assistant positions within the Finance Division.
