Director of Coding Operations

A company is looking for a Director of Coding Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the coding team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in coding and abstracting functions

Supervise onsite and remote coding staff, providing guidance and conducting annual evaluations

Collaborate with service line leadership to address complex coding questions and ensure compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; additional experience may substitute for degree

5 years of management experience with direct reports

5 years of outpatient coding experience

Substantial knowledge of outpatient workflows and coding processes

Able to prepare training materials and conduct web-based training
