Job Description :

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated  Nursing Assistant  to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on care to patients under the direction of registered nurses and licensed healthcare professionals. You will play a critical role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity while contributing to a high standard of clinical care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care, teamwork, and professional growth within the healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans and established clinical protocols
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, dressing, and mobility
  • Safely transfer, position, and ambulate patients using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Monitor patients’ physical and emotional condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
  • Accurately document patient care, observations, and vital information in electronic or paper medical records
  • Support pediatric patients and their families with compassion, reassurance, and clear communication
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
  • Follow infection prevention and control policies, including proper use of PPE and aseptic techniques
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Uphold patient rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Nursing Assistant certification (CNA)
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and common patient care practices
  • Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients with mobility (with or without assistive devices)
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and infectious disease protocols
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and standard precautions
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
