Central time puts the London/New York overlap — the highest-volume window in forex — squarely in mid-morning local, which is one of the cleanest schedules the market offers. The result: peak FX volume concentrates into the first few hours of your workday, so a disciplined morning routine matters more than long screen time.
Kansas traders in Wichita, Overland Park, Kansas City, and Topeka work the Central time zone — the same clock as Chicago. London close, New York open, and the European/US overlap all land in mid-morning, giving traders a sensible, sustainable daily rhythm.
