Job Title : CNC Programmer
Job Description
Program various CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as 3 and 5 axis cutting, CNC Lathe, and router programming to form or shape manufactured parts from raw materials.
Responsibilities
- Use CAD / CAM programming system to convert engineering drawings and change orders into machine G Code format.
- Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications.
- Program future jobs while machines are operating and ensure the current revision level is accurate.
- Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
- Inspect and evaluate production parts to blueprint specifications.
- Design, build, and repair a variety of basic mechanical and specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned departmental equipment / machinery.

Work Environment
Work will take place in a non-climate controlled facility located in Wichita, KS. The dress code is pants / shorts and a shirt, with no tank tops or cut-offs allowed. Be open to working both 1st shift (Mon-Fri; 6 : 30am-3pm) and 2nd shift (Mon-Fri; 3pm-11 : 30pm).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr.
