Acro is partnering with the Kansas City, MO, to recruit a dynamic leader to oversee the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. This is a high-impact executive role shaping public safety, rehabilitation, and strategic operational leadership for the city.

What You’ll Lead :

• Citywide correctional & rehabilitation operations
• Strategic planning, policy development, & fiscal management
• Workforce leadership—building a high-performing, trauma-informed team
• Partnerships with courts, law enforcement, healthcare & community agencies
• Compliance with ACA, NCCHC & Missouri Jail Standards

What You Bring :

🔹 10+ years in corrections, law enforcement, or public-sector leadership

🔹 5+ years in a senior executive role

🔹 Strong background in organizational leadership, behavioral health, and modern correctional practices

🔹 Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred

🔹 Valid driver’s license & ability to pass background / psychological screening
