Position Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the XL Center, including setting up and tearing down events, maintaining the overall cleanliness of the arena, and ensuring the general maintenance of equipment and the facility. Events such as AHL hockey, college basketball, concerts, graduations, theater shows, trade shows, and other public events provide the Facilities Manager with hands-on experience in event setups, changeovers, housekeeping / custodial work, and general maintenance. The Facilities Manager plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation by helping manage and supervise the building’s operational activities, ensuring overall cleanliness and functionality. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will assist the Operations Manager with administrative planning, policy implementation, and maintaining high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction. As a liaison, the Facilities Manager facilitates communication and coordination among the custodial, operations, and engineering staff.
This role will pay an yearly salary of $47,000 to $52,000.
