- Java Lead - 117667BRDESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES : Infosys is seeking a Java Lead This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design;
- play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty;

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Reston, VA or Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area.
This position may require 20% travel in the US.
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years of Information Technology experience
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.Preferred Qualifications :
- Overall 4+ years of experience on Java
- Understanding of Microservice architecture
- Experience working with Java 11 or 17
- Experience working with the Spring Boot framework
- Experience working with Kafka
- Good Experience with REST API
- Good Experience with React, UI
- Experience working with Cassandra database
- Working experience using the following tools and technologies GIT, GitHub, Helm, Concourse,
- Familiarity working with Camunda Orchestrator
- Familiarity working with Cloud platforms Kubernetes / AWS
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- Familiarity with the ELK stack
- Creating new Microservices using Spring boot and updating existing Microservices to add new features
- Working and collaborating with multiple teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Supporting various stakeholders throughout the new and existing feature integration process
- Participating in Agile development
