As a Principal Product Manager on the WIP leadership team, you will own the strategy and execution for how Windows ships new experiences and devices, influencing critical engineering decisions and collaborating across engineering, marketing, legal, and leadership. Your primary mission is to evolve Windows release strategiesfrom feature deployment and hardware enablement to staged rollouts for internal and external audiences. You will own product strategy for release systems, flighting infrastructure, and data platforms, synthesizing inputs from customer feedback, telemetry, technical capabilities, and cross-team plans to determine what ships, when, and how. You'll collaborate with engineering counterparts to integrate frontier AI capabilities, designing AI agents and leveraging plugin-based protocols to simplify systems and accelerate delivery. Success in this role requires a first-principles mindset, deep technical curiosity, and the ability to translate complexity into actionable engineering plans. You will :

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
