Metropolitan Health Group, a primary care clinic, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant / Executive Assistant.
This position will play an integral role in supporting our clinical team and executive staff, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Responsibilities :
- Greet patients, take vitals, and record medical history and symptoms
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of licensed medical staff
- Communicate with patients about medication changes and prescription refills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Act as a liaison between patients and the clinical team
- Provide administrative support to executive staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Manage and maintain confidential information with discretion
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant or executive assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
