We are currently partnering with a reputable school district in Midland, TX, and seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their team for the upcoming school year.

Job Description : As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication and speech disorders, enabling them to achieve academic success and social integration.

In this position, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language impairments.

Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and monitoring progress.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational goals
  • Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in speech-language pathology

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
