Portfolio Operations Leader
The Portfolio Operations leader drives solution and product performance within Indoor Retail through advanced P&L management, prioritization and execution of new product implementation into our factories, recommending and implementing FPP (80 / 20) behavior, and serves as a liaison between the General Management team and our various internal stakeholders (Operations, Finance, etc.). Responsibilities
Plant Participation
- Regularly participate in relevant factory meetings to keep the GM group informed of opportunities and concerns within the operational environment, enabling proactive problem-solving.
- Lead the implementation of new product processes (such as operational lines or software introductions) that require support from the product group within operational facilities.
- Facilitate monthly and quarterly SPR reviews, including Gate Reviews and Red Program Reviews.
- Oversee the PI process and prioritize accordingly.
- Manage Commercial and New Product Development milestones.
Financial Management
Prepare regular financial and operational reviews for weekly management discussions to ensure teams remain on track.Monitor trends and benchmarks critical to achieving top- and bottom-line performance for the P&L.Drive FPP Simplification Input to Platform Roadmap and Lifecycle
Simplify and prioritize programs in alignment with profit & loss (P&L) investment expectations across the solution stack and regions.Enable rapid decision-making and empower teams to propose solutions and escalate risks.Collaborate with Product Managers to drive mid- and long-term growth of respective products through Marketing-Led Opportunities (MLOs).Governance & Decision-Making
Manage review agendas, driving decisions and follow-up actions.Deploy Vontier Business System tools to enhance portfolio strategy execution.Team Enablement
Coach teams on gate criteria and review readiness.Promote transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.M&A and Partner Technologies
Support commercialization of products.Manage deal desk processes.Who You Are (Qualifications)
Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack
Essential : 6+ years proven experience in portfolio management, product strategy, or business operations.5+ years strong leadership and facilitation skills across cross-functional teams.Demonstrated understanding of Product Improvement, Lifecycle management, Daily Management and Process Improvement frameworks for integrated solutions.Ability to manage complex investment decisions and resource trade-offs.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Preferable : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.Deliverables
