Job description
  • Description : * This team is in the process of migrating over to Cloud Foundry to help save money and be more efficient. This group specifically, will be migrating to Pivotal Cloud Foundry which will sit uses Ubuntu. By doing so, it will allow for rapid provisioning of applications. This will be the infrastructure in which to put PCF applications. They will be rolling out 20+ platforms of Pivotal by the end of the year. They will be supporting platform instances, automation, patching, building, etc., anything to relate to the platform. They will need a strong Pivotal Cloud Foundry engineer to help with implementing and running Cloud Foundry in J2EE environment. Candidate should have 12 to 18 months experience supporting Cloud Foundry. 10 plus years as a senior Linux system administrator. In addition to a strong Linux background, candidate should have 5 plus years in web systems environments which includes senior level support and experience with Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, and Java 1.7 and 1.8. Configuring and maintaining middleware platforms, deployment of applications as well as any servers / system that support or host web applications. Ideal candidate comfortable with Linux (RHEL). Must have experience with a wide range of products such as Anthill Pro / uDeploy and SiteMinder are preferred.
