Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to support both clinical and administrative functions in an ambulatory care setting. This role works under the supervision of a physician provider and / or registered nurse and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to veterans and individuals who have served our country.

This is a full-time weekday position ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured clinical environment

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Greet and assist patients and veterans with professionalism and compassion
• Measure and record vital signs
• Assist with basic patient care including blood draws and diagnostic testing
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures as needed

Administrative Duties

• Answer and screen phone calls; route inquiries appropriately
• Schedule confirm and coordinate patient appointments and testing
• Complete patient registration and update demographic information
• Maintain accurate medical records charts files and logs
• Respond to billing-related questions and clerical inquiries
• Perform data entry reporting and general correspondence
• Maintain and order office and clinical supplies
