Job description
A company is looking for a Field Application Engineer to support OEM partners with switch ASIC integration and datacenter networking.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical specialist on switch ASICs and networking products, supporting OEM engineers and account managers
Provide on-site and remote support for hardware / software integration and assist with ASIC SDK integration
Deliver training and technical collateral for OEM engineering teams while analyzing logs and driving rapid issue resolution
Required Qualifications
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in networking, ASIC system development, or customer-facing technical roles
Strong knowledge of Ethernet switch ASIC architecture and familiarity with switch SDKs and APIs
Proficiency in datacenter networking protocols and strong Linux networking background
Hands-on experience with traffic generators and packet capture / debugging tools
