We’re seeking a part‑time Barback who brings both skill and personality to the bar. If you love a fast-paced and vibrant atmosphere, and enjoy connecting with guests, this is an opportunity to be part of something special.

The Lenox is home to three unique dining outlets, and banquet and meeting spaces:

• Sweeney’s on Boylston. A lively neighborhood favorite serving authentic Irish classics and Lenox staples. Always spirited, always welcoming.
• The Irving at The Lenox. An intimate lobby cocktail bar with turnofthecentury charm, known for beautifully crafted cocktails and a sense of intrigue.
• Willow & Ivy. Led by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney, Willow & Ivy offers a fresh, refined take on New England–inspired American cuisine in a reimagined, inviting space.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and maintain par levels of all inventory items for a successful service.
• Continuously clean all areas of the bar, including glassware, bar tools and dishware
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assisting with maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality

What we’re looking for

• Some experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel preferred
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to respectfully engage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to lift 75lbs, stand, walk, bend, kneel and climb stairs
• Ability to communicate in English. Multi-lingual a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
