Job descriptionInterpret architectural and engineering specifications and convert them into accurate technical drawings. Develop layout, plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings. Collaboration : Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and technical issues. Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure all changes are implemented correctly. Documentation and Standards : Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and industry best practices. Update and maintain CAD standards and templates as needed. Quality Control : Identify and resolve any design or drafting issues in a timely manner. Conduct site visits as necessary to verify measurements and gather data. Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Operator in the construction industry. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus. Primarily office-based with occasional site visits. Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. May require occasional lifting of light materials and equipment.

Essential Functions :
- Drafting and Design :
Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for commercial and residential projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Work closely with estimators, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project requirements.
Maintain organized files and records of all CAD drawings and project documentation.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
