El Futuro is seeking a full-time Bilingual Clinical Mental Health Trainer to join the Training, Education, and Consultation Services (TECS) team in expanding Latino mental health capacity across North Carolina and beyond. The Bilingual Clinical Mental Health Trainer is an integral member of the TECS team, developing clinical training content on Latino mental health and engaging in dissemination, training and consulting activities. The audience of these trainings includes health, mental health, and allied health providers located across the state of North Carolina.

The annual salary for this position is $60,000, El Futuro provides employer paid medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability; 403B matching; generous PTO and paid holidays; paid medical leave; paid parental leave; and stipend and paid time off for professional development.

This is a hybrid position; working a regular schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with occasional work time in the evening and / or weekends. Must be available for Friday meetings and programmatic events. One day in-person work, minimum, in the Durham office required, as well as occasional travel within North Carolina.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Bilingual Clinical Training Specialist performs a wide range of functions including, but not limited to :

• Develop, lead and / or facilitate educational trainings, such as didactic teaching sessions, topical webinars, interactive clinical learning sessions, and / or consultation activities.
• Create professional development related content on mental health practices and other behavioral health services for the Latino community, both independently and as part of a team.

Translate relevant research into actionable strategies to be employed in various learning opportunities.
