CNC Machinist
Temp to hire
1st shift : M-F 7Am - 4pm. Must be available to work Saturdays, half day shifts.
$23-$28 / hr
As a Precision Machinist, tasks & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following : Review &
interpretation of drawings, samples, and other various manufacturing documents / instructions with focused
attention to detail related to specification requirements for the machining and production of tight tolerance and
thin-walled precision metal parts. Utilization of knowledge in programming / set-up / edits and operation of shop
machinery. Ensures accuracy while prioritizing high production rates to accomplish goals and meet or exceed
expected lead times.
- Set up and operate a CNC Mori SL35 w / Fanuc controls
- Use of precision measuring instruments
- Able to follow blueprint specifications
- Perform program edits
- Motivated employee that is reliable and pays attention to detail
- Completes jobs safely and productively
- Ability to interpret drawings and produce parts within the given tolerances
- Ability to operate 2-axis or 3-axis lathes
- Experience in precision machining of tight tolerance, thin-walled parts out of nickel alloys such as 718, 825 &
625
programs will be provided by the company.
