JOB DESCRIPTION
The Companion Caregivers assists family members with providing care within the home and in the community. This includes relieving family members from basic self-help needs and other activities of daily living, including interaction, socialization, and continuation of daily routines that family members would ordinarily perform and / or facilitate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintains confidentiality of all clients
- Performs duties and procedures, as assigned / directed, in an accurate and timely manner
- Safeguards the client / patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures, including, but not limited to Universal Precautions
- Notifies the Company office of any abnormal findings or conditions
- Adheres to standards and procedures of the Company’s In-Home Respite Services
- Arrives at the client’s home on time, and leaves when shift schedule is complete
- Represents Companion Services with a positive image at all times
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when meeting needs
- Performs other duties as assigned / necessary
Minimum Requirements :
