Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job description: Posts sales transactions to accounting records such as worksheets, ledgers and computer files. Reconciles office records Prepares invoices, listing items sold and service provided, amounts due and credit terms. Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management. Fills in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management. Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries. Updates customers' account information. Maintains a monthly holdback list for the office manager. Inputs new vehicles into the computer system as directed by the office manager. Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval. Prepares accounts payable checks. Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis. Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules. Reconciles cash schedule. Maintains petty cash system. Communicates cash requirements for day Analyzes vendor accounts. Answers all vendor inquiries. Reconciles bank balances on a daily basis. Assists in monthly closings. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Prepare accounts receivable and payments. Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Works well with others, self driven. Experience: Accounting: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: N C D L and accessible transportation (Required)
Work Location: In person Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
