Audio Warehouse is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead our field teams through some of the most technically demanding luxury installations in the Lowcountry - from scope and scheduling through final walkthrough, keeping every job on track and every technician set up to do their best work.

Position Overview
The Project Manager oversees and supports technicians in the field who install, configure, and maintain integrated technology systems, providing leadership and structure on job sites — managing timelines, setting goals, assigning tasks, mentoring the team, and ensuring quality installations. This role demands advanced technical knowledge, including mastery of technician, programmer, and designer responsibilities.
What You'll Do
Project Oversight & Planning
- Manage project scope, specifications, and applicable codes across multiple projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating daily tasks for technicians and subcontractors
- Work with the Service Department to allocate resources effectively and minimize downtime
- Provide regular progress reports to the Design Team, noting schedule adjustments, material needs, and labor status
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, milestones, and expectations based on jobsite conditions
Technical Support & Supervision
- Provide on-site technical support and guidance to installation teams
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical manuals
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming and installation of integrated systems, including home automation and control systems, distributed audio/video, home theater systems, networking and data infrastructure, and surveillance/camera systems
- Assist technicians with configuration and troubleshooting, including complex issues
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and train technicians on installation standards, programming, best practices, and client communication
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork
- Evaluate technician performance and provide constructive feedback
Administrative & Equipment Management
- Utilize D-Tools (or similar) project management software for scheduling, documentation, and progress tracking
- Maintain company-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
- Ensure accurate and complete project documentation and perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in AV, lighting, or integration project management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple technology platforms
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of D-Tools or similar project management software
