Compensation : $80K-$110K- (based on experience)
A mid-sized CPA and business consulting firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its San Bernardino, CA office. The Tax Senior is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, providing high-level tax planning and compliance services to clients, and assisting in the supervision and development of junior tax staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and non-profits.
- Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
- Review work papers and returns prepared by associates and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist in managing client relationships and coordinate with clients to gather necessary data and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks and suggest process improvements.
- Support tax audits and interact with tax authorities as needed.
- Stay current on tax legislation and industry trends.
- Mentor and train junior staff; provide performance feedback and support professional development.
