Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming techniques and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining processes including milling and 5-axis machining.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate programming instructions.
  • Set up and configure CNC machines for production runs, ensuring proper tooling and materials are in place.
  • Conduct test runs of programs to ensure quality and precision standards are met, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs and machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve processes and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Familiarity with programming software such as NX and MasterCAM is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of technical drawings and machining processes.
  • Experience with milling and 5-axis machining preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
