Pay :  $30-45 / hour

Schedule :   Monday Thru Friday, 45 Hours / Week

Job Summary :

The Diesel Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, including Develon machinery and other agricultural, truck, and construction equipment. This position involves both field and shop work, with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and quality. Technicians are expected to work independently but also collaborate with the team to provide exceptional service to our customers in the Sioux Falls area and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and assemble equipment as assigned in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
• Perform repairs on electrical systems, hydraulic systems, powertrains, and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a field setting with limited supervision.
• Complete work orders accurately, including parts, labor, and fluid usage documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction with service provided.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the field and in the shop.
• Stay up to date on technical knowledge of all equipment serviced, attending manufacturer training when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and proper functioning of service vehicles and tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00
