Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with automotive manufacturing experience and hands-on IATF 16949 experience to join a growing precision manufacturing organization.

Job Duties:

Support and improve the QMS in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to resolve quality issues.
Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Support APQP and PPAP activities for new products and engineering changes.
Utilize quality core tools including PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and PPAP.
Investigate customer complaints and internal nonconformances.
Support internal, customer, and supplier audits.
Analyze quality data to reduce scrap, improve process capability, and prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications:

2+ years of Quality Engineering or Quality Systems experience in manufacturing.
Hands-on IATF 16949 experience – required.
Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and automotive quality core tools.
Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Experience with metal forming, springs, wire products, stamping, or precision manufacturing is a plus.
