The Mission Critical Quality Manager is responsible for driving project quality throughout the construction lifecycle by providing technical oversight, conducting field inspections, coordinating commissioning readiness, and ensuring electrical and mechanical systems meet project specifications before turnover. This role partners with internal and external teams to overcome project challenges, strengthen overall performance, and support consistent standards throughout execution.

What You'll Gain

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Access to a broad selection of health, dental, vision, life, and income-protection benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement savings program.
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Financial support for career-related training and professional credentials.
  • Long-term career growth supporting high-profile mission critical construction programs.
  • Collaborative culture focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction and commissioning lifecycle of mission critical facilities.
  • Review system installations to confirm alignment with project requirements, technical documents, governing regulations, and recognized standards.
  • Conduct field inspections, document quality findings, and oversee corrective actions to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Partner across construction, engineering, and delivery teams to address quality needs and support timely execution.
  • Examine testing results, field reports, and closeout documentation to confirm completion requirements have been satisfied.
  • Support commissioning activities by validating system performance, construction quality, and operational readiness prior to owner acceptance.
  • Organize and update project records related to quality reviews, open items, field findings, and final completion.
  • Identify opportunities to improve construction quality, project execution, and process consistency while promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary quality resource on site, providing technical guidance and ensuring successful project delivery from construction through final turnover.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience overseeing electrical quality or system validation work within data centers or similarly complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, including low, medium, and high voltage infrastructure.
  • Background supporting mechanical system verification, including airflow and hydronic balancing activities.
  • Practical understanding of the regulatory and industry standards governing electrical installations, testing, and system safety.
  • Experience working with digital tools that support project coordination and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate construction quality, manage technical documentation, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities with a structured, solutions-focused approach
  • Capable of managing competing priorities in dynamic project settings
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  • Professional certifications related to commissioning, quality management, or engineering are highly valued.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale, enterprise, industrial, or other mission critical infrastructure projects.
