Job Title: CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who can efficiently interpret and follow detailed engineering drawings and instructions to produce precise parts. This role requires expertise in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, along with designing and making necessary fixtures and tools.

Responsibilities

• Write programs from scratch for variety of industries
• Program, set-up, and operate CNC machines and other equipment in the machine shop.
• Design and create fixtures, jigs, tools, soft vise jaws, and shop aids.
• Utilize various measuring and inspection tools to ensure piece part inspection and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and produce piece parts and tooling as needed.
• Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers for job skill transfer.
• Perform maintenance on machines and equipment as required.
• Assist with moving parts/materials, loading/unloading, sweeping, and cleaning.

Essential Skills

• Ability to write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and knowledge in GD&T.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Adherence to workplace rules and safety standards.
• Capability to work with oils, degreasers, and other machining tools.
