KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Database Administrator to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with software architects, and developers to design databases that meet project requirements; develop database structures, procedures, and data standards
- Design and implement data models, and data integrations strategies.
- Oversee data management tasks such as data loading, data backup / recovery, data replication, and database tuning
- Monitor databases to optimize database performance and diagnose issues. Manage database log review and implement database optimization strategies
- Implement and maintain security policies. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard the database
- Collaborate with other team members, IT departments, and leadership. Report on database management and performance; leverage generative AI technologies to enhance data processing workflows and improve data-driven decision-making strategies within database management practices
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
