SUMMARY OF POSITION

Are you someone with a solid technical foundation-perhaps an engineering degree or technical training-but crave a more hands-on, dynamic role? Do you thrive when solving real-world problems, collaborating with customers, and making an immediate impact? Ascent Aerospace is looking for a driven, technically skilled individual ready to step into a Technical Representative position with a path to a Site Manager for one of our key customers.
This is far more than just a field service role-it's a unique opportunity to grow into a leadership position while representing cutting-edge automation technology. You'll become the on-site expert, directly supporting customer maintenance teams and indirectly leading them through your expertise. You'll work alongside project managers and sales staff, bridging the gap between engineering, operations, and customer support.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose and repair complex industrial control systems, including, but not limited to : PLCs, CNC controllers, field bus networks, and drive systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and use multi-meter to diagnose electrical circuits
- Coordinates and interfaces directly with customers, suppliers, and other entities to ensure that all customer requirements, goals and objectives are fully understood and communicated to senior management
- Travel to customer sites to perform new machine commissioning, planned preventive maintenance, machine controls upgrades, and emergency service
- Perform maintenance and operator training for customers
- Follow policy and procedures including safe working practices
- Any additional duties assigned by management.

The pay for this opportunity will commiserate with experience and be around $38-$48 per hour
