Job description
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in emotional distress.
Key Responsibilities
Provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention support, and brief counseling to clients in emotional distress
Conduct follow-ups with high-risk callers and document client interactions accurately
Utilize SMS, web chat, and calls to interact with clients and adhere to program policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Forensic Psychology, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in behavioral health and / or call center work
Experience in behavioral health with call center experience is strongly preferred
Fluency in English, both oral and written
Able to attend a 5-week training class without interruptions
