A home health RN (registered nurse) is a healthcare professional who provides nursing care and support to patients in their homes. The main focus of the job is to assist individuals who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, injury, or disability. Some of the responsibilities of a home health RN include : Assessing the patient's health status and creating a care plan that meets their individual needs. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Monitoring the patient's vital signs and medical condition. Providing education and support to the patient and their family regarding their medical condition and treatment plan. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, social workers, and physical therapists, to ensure the patient receives comprehensive care. Keeping detailed records of the patient's medical history and progress. Helping patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. The ideal candidate for this role should have a current nursing license and experience working in a home health or clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. This is a not full time but contracted travel position.
