Job description
A company is looking for a Part-Time Faculty - Health Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and / or graduate courses in Health Information Technology
Engage with students through communication, live lectures, and timely feedback on assignments
Assist with curriculum maintenance and resolve academic integrity issues
Required Qualifications
Terminal degree or master's degree in Health Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline for those with a terminal degree in another field
Experience teaching at the college / university level is preferred
Applicable credentials from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
Two years of experience in the teaching discipline for certain qualifications
