Position Overview :

This is a learning position to develop professional skills and gain experience in a clinical andrology / endocrine laboratory with the goal of achieving proficiency in the performance of andrology / endocrine laboratory services in accordance with Illume Fertility’s Protocol Manuals. This position also includes laboratory administrative responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services as directed by supervisor to develop proficiency in all required areas.
• Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, and anti-sperm antibody testing.
• Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation.
• Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations.
• Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records.
• Other duties as needed.

Education & Qualifications :

Associates or bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology.

Adequate computer skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ARTworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.

Immunization :

Staff member must meet immunizations requirements as stated in the Illume Fertility immunization policy.
