Job DescriptionRole and ResponsibilitiesRole and Responsibilities

As an Inventory Control Technician, you will serve as the primary contact to our Sales Representatives for the warehouse. Other responsibilities include :

  • Order product for warehouse based upon reports (Use and Replace).
  • Keep product in warehouse properly inventoried, stocked and rotated.
  • Support Operations Team in managing consignment costs by monitoring expiration, damaged product and orders based upon sales.
  • Distribute product to Sales Reps based upon need.
  • Provide packing slip in each shipment so Sales Reps can reconcile their shipments with product received.
  • As items are shipped in, you will be responsible to open boxes, compare items in box to packing slip, distribute product to its proper location including managers’ offices, lab, etc.
  • Work with FedEx and UPS to receive and ship items.
  • Learn FedEx software to schedule pickups as needed and to ship to remote Pylant locations.
  • Stock sets as needed.
  • Pull product for Sales Reps as needed.
  • Scan returned product back to warehouse with a discerning eye for expiration, damage and sellabiity.
  • Work with other warehouse personnel in remote locations to share product, determine trends.
  • Must make an attempt to learn basic product terms and concepts pertaining to different sales categories, like shoulder, knee / hip, DEX, etc.
  • Learn and maintain skill on inventory management system, Redspot, in order to function highly with regard to tracking, reporting and problem solving.
  • Provide reports regarding sold instruments to order replacement instruments.
  • Provide Reports as requested.
  • Manage Orders email and additional personal work email, including answering all emails, placing emails in proper folders.
  • Learn Arthrex ordering database in Arthrex Business Portal.
  • Learn all Sales Reps and their respective locations, drop ship locations, special shipping instructions necessary for getting product to all local and remote locations.
  • Manage shipping costs by making day-to-day shipping determinations.
  • Treat obsolete product when / as Arthrex determines, including alerting Reps to the product in their individual warehouses that has been deemed obsolete, giving specific instructions to the warehouse, destroyed, or shipped back to Arthrex.
  • Create Excel spreadsheet to give to Arthrex regarding the collection and treatment of product.
  • Ship product back to Arthrex as necessary.
  • Each day, keep all shelves, floors, walkways, countertops and work areas clear of product and debris.
  • Maintain an overall neat appearance in the warehouse.
  • Participate in annual audits including but not limited to scanning, counting, bundling, marking and otherwise accounting for product.
  • Work additional time as needed per special projects in order to complete them.
  • Order supplies for warehouse as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact for Graftsource.
  • As necessary, conduct or assist in the conduction of mini-audits at Rep storage locations.
  • Must be willing to work in storage facility settings.
  • Work with the operations team to solve problems, reconcile the warehouse to Arthrex, track sets, etc.
  • Reports to Inventory Logistics Manager and will keep them informed of changes, challenges or conflicts regarding day-to-day warehouse activity.
  • Show up for work on time, ready to perform job duties each and every day and stay until shift is complete or until special projects are finished.
