Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

• Proficiency in vb / csharp .net and Python scripting.

Creative / development / independent judgment responsibilities :

• Systems engineer will be responsible for configuring multiple file transfer and EDI environments.
• Responsible for out of hours support for any failed processing.
• Responsible for high level design and implementation around file transfer jobs and service stability.
• Act as a technical SME during escalated P1 / P2 issues.

Administrative / Routine responsibilities :

• Act as a technical SME during escalated P1 / P2 issues.
• Develop any new application configuration changes and processes.
• Coordinate w / Systems PM when developing any new configuration changes requests.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements :

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

• Proficiency in vb / csharp .net and Python scripting.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

• Familiar with Pentaho, Microsoft IIS administration, SFTP and FTP protocols.
• Knowledge of government sponsored health care programs and systems.
